One of the most common questions that comes up in interfaith relationships is how will we raise our kids, and is it even possible?
This was a question I had myself for so long. And it took years for me to feel ready to bring kids into my relationship.
That didn't happen becasue problems and differences wasn't there. It came from being willing to sit in the uncomfortable conversations together with my husband and also realising that we won't have all of the answers before our kids are here.
The most important part is that we are bale to communicate with respect.
Because kids don't get confused by differences, they get confused when their parents don't accept each other for who they are.
In this free class me (Ida) and my partner and best friend Amelia, who is also a clinical phsycologist, and most importantly has 2 kids within an interfaith and intercultural relationship will share our own stories and journeys that are very different and also give you some general tools and tips on how to best navigate this for yourself.
Each relationship is going to look different because each person is. So this is not a space where we will tell you what is right or wrong because in our world there are no such things. Only you will know what is right for you.
It is a space where we will help you build a strong foundation so that you're able to have those complex conversations with your partner in order to feel ready to bring kids into this world, and being able to see your differences as strengths instead of negative things.
When: 9th August 6PM CEST
If you can't be there live you will get access to the replay after to watch in your own time.
